Welcome to the Houston Transportation Survey!

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Houston METRO, Harris County Toll Road Authority, and the Houston - Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) are studying new ways to improve traffic flow along major freeways in Texas using Managed Lanes (opens in new window).

Last year, the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) at Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) conducted a survey of Houston area residents about these issues. The results of the survey have been finalized and made available at this website.
